An early morning sighting of the Dallam Estate deer herd at Beetham

 

The beginning of the old miners quarry route ‘Park Head Road’ that leads towards the now abandoned Caw Quarry

 

The views quickly open up as height is gained - here looking towards Whitfell with The Pike to it's left and Hesk Fell to the right

 

The view in the opposite direction looks up the Duddon Valley - Harter Fell prominent left of centre
