Stockley Bridge below Seathwaite Fell


Ruddy Gill just below the deep ravine and the north facing cliff of Great End


A look back down Grains Gill to Borrowdale and beyond with a glimpse of Derwent Water


Great End continues to dominate the walk up to and past Ruddy Gill


The impressive northern buttress of Great End with the dark gullies of Southeast Gully and Central Gully cut into its central face


The views begin to open up at the top of Ruddy Gill where the path meets the Langdale - Wasdale path.
