An alpen-like glow touches the tops of the Yoke / Ill Bell ridge.

Troutbeck Tongue to the right - my route to the top goes to the right alongside Hagg Gill and via the ridge from the north.

 

The path above Hagg Gill goes alongside the wall on the middle left.

 

Out of the shadows at last and the view north up to Threshthwaite Mouth

(just visible below the layer of cloud between Caudale Moor and Thornthwaite Crag).

 

Slightly higher and the wider view includes Froswick and Ill Bell.
