Looking eastwards towards Buckden Pike from the Pennine Way above Tennant Gill farm.

 

Nearing the top of Fountains Fell there are numerous outcroppings of the Yoredale millstone rocks.

 

The junction of the Pennine Way and Fountain Fell paths is marked by two

well built cairns with views across to Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent.......
