-5C as we set off from the Ribblehead lay-by.

 

Bleamoor Tunnel - note the spoil heaps from the tunnel ventilation shafts to the right.

 

The lower fall at Force Gill – we will pay a closer visit on the return journey.

Approaching the main ridge - a convenient furrow in the deep snow made by recent climbers makes the going easy.
