-5◦C as we set off from the Ribblehead lay-by.
Bleamoor Tunnel - note the spoil heaps from the tunnel ventilation shafts to the right.
The lower fall at Force Gill we will pay a closer visit on the return journey.
Looking towards a cloud-covered Ingleborough.
Approaching the main ridge - a convenient furrow in the deep snow made by recent climbers makes the going easy.
A build up of hoar frost on the ridge fence.
