The ford and footbridge over the Rawthey below Steps End.

Knott and Sickers Fell over Grimes Gill and the steep southern slope of Middle Tongue.


A little higher and Arant Haw comes into view.

The long trudge  up Great Dummacks’ southern ridge is worth all the effort as Cautley Crag suddenly comes into view.
