Low Tilberthwaite the start of today's walk..........

 

........the NT cottage at Low Tilberthwaite and its picturesque spinning gallery.

 

Steel Edge one of the lesser used routes to the summit of Wetherlam.

 

Wetherlam over the not so Dry Cove Bottom.

 

As height is gained above the crest of Dry Cove Bottom the views really open up over Little Langdale and beyond.

 

Looking up to Wetherlam and Wetherlam Edge my route to the top after first negotiating Birk Fell Man.

 

A great view through the Blea Tarn gap to the Langdale Pikes.

 

Wetherlam Edge.........to the right Wet Side Edge leading to the summit of Little Carrs.

 

Crinkle Crags, Bow Fell and Pike o' Blisco from Birk Fell Man.

 

Looking over Wrynose Pass to Blake Rigg and beyond.

 

Little Langdale.

 

The Old Man of Coniston from the summit of Wetherlam.

 

Looking down on the tops of Birk Fell and Great Intake from the top of Hen Crag.
